The sixth E-Mart store has opened in Mongolia
On December 18, E-Mart announced the opening of its sixth store in Mongolia, named E-Mart Tenger, located in a key shopping area in the eastern part of the capital, Ulaanbaatar.
The new E-Mart Tenger store is situated on the first floor of the Dragon Tenger bus station and covers an area of 2,545 square meters.
Last year, the chain opened its fifth store at the Dragon bus station in western Ulaanbaatar — this was the second store focused on transport hubs.
One of the key features of the new E-Mart store is the significant increase in the range of Korean products, which is twice that of previous stores.
A separate section for the popular brand No Brand, which occupies 120 square meters and offers about 800 products, including snacks and household items, has been designated at the entrance to the store.
The store also features a cosmetics area with around 470 products from well-known Korean brands such as Glow:Up by Beyond, Innisfree, and TonyMoly.
Additionally, the store's menu includes more than 50 dishes, including Korean dishes such as kimbap, jokbal, and fried chicken, as well as traditional Mongolian treats like huushuur and tsuivan.
The E-Mart chain began its operations in Mongolia in 2016, signing a franchise agreement with the local company Altai Group. Since then, sales volume has increased 14 times.
Next year, E-Mart plans to expand its presence by opening new stores in other shopping districts and implementing new formats, such as standalone No Brand stores and No Brand zones in collaboration with local retail companies.
