Recently, a seminar was held organized by Korea United Pharm for medical professionals in Mongolia, where a new combination of aspirin and clopidogrel — Clavixin Duo capsules — was presented.

On Thursday, over 50 cardiologists gathered at the Ramada hotel in Ulaanbaatar for an event dedicated to the launch of Clavixin Duo capsules. The Korean manufacturer plans to intensify its efforts in the market in collaboration with the local partner, "Tsakhiur Tömör".

At the seminar, Professor Sung Min-soo from Gangnam Severance discussed the benefits and clinical data of Clavixin Duo capsules obtained in Korea. He also shared modern approaches to combination therapy using aspirin and clopidogrel, emphasizing the potential of the drug to improve patient adherence to recommendations.

Korea United Pharm hopes that this seminar will help raise awareness among medical workers in Mongolia and increase the number of prescriptions for the new drug.

In addition to Clavixin Duo capsules, the company intends to expand its presence in the market by offering products such as Tamiselvir for flu treatment and Clanza S Soft Capsule anti-inflammatory analgesics, aiming to gradually increase export volumes to Mongolia.

In 2022, the import of pharmaceutical goods to Mongolia amounted to $155.64 million, indicating stable growth in recent years. Korea ranks second among suppliers, highlighting the significance of Korean companies in this developing market.
