With this delivery, the number of new E195-E2 aircraft in Hunnu Air's fleet has increased to two. Additionally, on December 25, 2025, the airline operated its first flight from Ulaanbaatar to Manila.

In 2025, Hunnu Air expanded its international flights, covering 39 routes in nine countries, including the Republic of Korea, India (Delhi and Amritsar), Vietnam (Nha Trang, Da Nang, and Phu Quoc), the Philippines (Manila), China (Beijing), and Uzbekistan (Tashkent).

This modern medium-haul aircraft was designed with a focus on passenger comfort and environmental safety. It features low noise levels and reduces carbon dioxide emissions and fuel consumption by 20% compared to similar models. The new E195-E2 immediately began operating flights on the Ulaanbaatar - Phu Quoc route.

The E195-E2, the largest in the E-Jet E2 family, provides maximum efficiency on high-frequency routes. Thanks to aerodynamic enhancements such as larger wings and a 4th generation fly-by-wire control system, this aircraft demonstrates a 29% reduction in fuel consumption compared to previous models.

In Mongolia, the E195-E2 aircraft is part of a new generation of Embraer models that have begun to be operated by Hunnu Air. This is a significant improvement for local aviation, as the first E2 aircraft began operating regional flights, including routes to China, enhancing transport accessibility and supporting the development of both the airline and the country as a whole. Hunnu Air received its first E195-E2 in early 2025 and is actively integrating these high-efficiency aircraft into its route network.

The E195-E2 model meets the strictest international noise standards, achieving a 76% reduction in noise levels compared to previous generation narrow-body aircraft.

With 30 E2 aircraft, a reduction of CO2 emissions by 165,000 metric tons per year is expected compared to outdated Airbus A319, which is equivalent to the effect of 279,000 people switching to bicycles instead of cars for commuting.

Compared to the latest Airbus 220-300, 30 E2 aircraft provide a reduction of CO2 emissions by 45,000 metric tons per year. To offset this amount of carbon, it would take 405 football fields planted with trees.

The E2 demonstrates the lowest fuel consumption per passenger seat for a single flight among aircraft accommodating 120 to 150 passengers.
