“Such an opinion contradicts my political principles. I have always emphasized that Kazakhstan is a presidential republic. Eight years ago, even before my work in Akorda, I proposed the concept of ‘Strong president - influential parliament - accountable government.’ Changing the state system for personal ambitions would be extremely irresponsible and unworthy. All important reforms are discussed in a nationwide referendum. There are no hidden motives here. My position is clear - political reforms will continue, and part of the long-term plans will be announced soon,” he added.
