According to the Iranian Civil Aviation Organization, transit flights, as well as departures and arrivals of civilian aircraft, are now allowed in the country's airspace. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

Recall that on the night of Thursday, the Flightradar24 service recorded the closure of Iran's airspace for more than two hours. This decision was made against the backdrop of a deteriorating situation and expectations of possible attacks from the United States. During this time, only international flights with special permissions were accepted.

"The sky over Iran is open for transit flights and services to passengers at airports," the official statement conveyed by the Iranian state television and radio company said.
