- The World Economic Forum in Davos, where a coordinated $800 billion recovery plan for Ukraine was set to be announced, was forced to postpone this announcement due to discussions regarding Greenland.
- NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, during his speech at a panel discussion in Davos, emphasized: "Greenland is not the main issue; the real problem lies in Ukraine."
- On Thursday, U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner will meet with Vladimir Putin in Moscow. Also on that day, a meeting between Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky is expected in Davos.
- Putin proposed using the frozen Russian assets in the U.S. for a $1 billion entry fee into the new "Council of Peace" proposed by Trump.
- Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, who leads the Ukrainian delegation in peace negotiations, held a meeting with Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff in Davos.
- The Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked a port in the village of Volna in the Krasnodar region, resulting in a fire at the terminals. Two people died as a result of the attack, and several were injured.
- The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reported power outages in the Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhia regions following a nighttime attack.
- The High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine imposed a freeze on assets seized from the office of the "Fatherland" party as part of a case involving bribery of people's deputies, as well as on the property of Yulia Tymoshenko's husband, including two garages and three cars.
- The French company Renault signed an agreement with the defense enterprise Turgis Gaillard to produce drones for Ukraine.
- In Germany, the federal prosecutor's office reported the detention of three individuals on suspicion of espionage in favor of Russia and related crimes.
