The Ambassador Emilio Pevida Pupo presented his credentials to the President of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh. This information was announced by the press service of the President of Mongolia.
During the meeting, President Khurelsukh noted that Mongolia and Cuba have maintained diplomatic relations for 66 years, and during this time, the relationship between the countries has developed in a spirit of friendship and cooperation.
Ambassador Pupo expressed his intention to actively work on further strengthening and expanding bilateral relations.
The President emphasized that his recent visit to Cuba in 2023 is of great significance, and he also noted Cuba's continued support in training specialists for Mongolia, especially in the field of medicine.
The Ambassador confirmed his readiness to continue developing traditionally friendly relations and cooperation in key areas such as healthcare, biotechnology, and education.
