The parties emphasized the need to explore possible directions for interaction between the CSTO and Japan, based on mutual interests. In this context, they exchanged views on the relationships between CSTO member states and observers and Japan, as well as on formats for cooperation with third countries within the framework of the CSTO.
Additionally, current issues regarding events in the region and beyond were discussed.
