
During the meeting, the protocol was signed by the Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia, Gankhuu Khassuur, and the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of Russia, Alexander Alexandrovich Kozlov.
Among the important decisions made at the meeting was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Main Administration of Land Management, Geodesy, and Cartography of Mongolia and the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre, and Cartography of Russia. Additionally, a Plan for the Development of Cooperation in the Field of Physical Culture and Sports for 2026–2028 was approved, which was signed between the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth of Mongolia and the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation.
The commission members discussed the implementation of the decisions made at the previous, 26th meeting, as well as explored opportunities to strengthen bilateral relations and develop trade, economic, and investment cooperation. An important point of discussion was the implementation of the Temporary Agreement on Free Trade between Mongolia and the Eurasian Economic Union, as well as the update of the program for the establishment of the Mongolia-Russia-China Economic Corridor.
The parties exchanged views on the prospects for deepening cooperation in areas such as regional forums, industrial product supplies, tourism, science, agriculture, healthcare and epidemiology, culture, and sports. Key initiatives to be implemented in the coming years were also agreed upon, along with measures to accelerate current and planned joint projects.
