On this day, December 9, 2025, a working group was established with the task of accelerating the implementation of Mongolia's National Anti-Corruption Program.

Based on the Prime Minister's directive, a working group has been formed that will focus on improving the legal environment to prevent corruption and conflicts of interest, strengthening justice, as well as reducing the level of corruption and abuse of power. An important aspect of the group's work will be analyzing the reasons for Mongolia's decline in the Transparency International Corruption Perceptions Index in recent years, implementing the recommendations of this organization, and eliminating bureaucratic barriers, which will also contribute to improving the business climate and protecting investors' rights.

Additionally, the Prime Minister signed a separate decree regarding measures to improve justice and combat corruption. This document emphasizes the need to enhance commitment to fighting corruption, transparency, and leadership at all levels. Cabinet members, heads of government agencies, and all public servants must adhere to principles of integrity, avoid corrupt schemes, and conflicts of interest.

The Prime Minister noted that the secretaries of ministries should lead anti-corruption efforts, while officials should focus on the interests of society. It was also announced that 2026 will be declared the "Year of Strengthening Discipline and Accountability in Public Service."

The working group is headed by the First Deputy Head of the Cabinet Secretariat, Mönkh-Erdene Demberelzeren, and includes the state secretaries of all ministries. At the meeting, group members discussed achievements in the fight against corruption, as well as measures to address its root causes and prevent conflicts of interest.

As part of the International Anti-Corruption Day, representatives of the Independent Authority Against Corruption (IAAC) were present at the meeting, sharing their views on the implementation of the National Anti-Corruption Program adopted by the parliament.
