This growth has been made possible by the implementation of the Mongolian government's strategy aimed at introducing a mechanism for coal sales through exchange trading, which started in February 2023. This new scheme has significantly increased the volume of export supplies, provided that coal is delivered to the border crossing points with neighboring countries.
According to the company's data, in January 2026, revenue from exports amounted to $137.8 million with supplies of 204 million tons of coal to the border control points.
