A project aimed at improving dental hygiene habits has begun in Mongolia, implemented under the support of the country's presidential initiative — the 'Healthy Mongol' program — and the Japanese Society for Dental Anti-Aging Medicine (日本アンチエイジング歯科医学会 — Japan Society for Dental Anti-Aging, JSDA). This was reported by MiddleAsianNews.
A bilateral meeting between representatives of the Japanese Society for Dental Anti-Aging Medicine and the Mongolian delegation, led by Ambassador Bayarsaihan Banzragch and Presidential Advisor Badamtsetsgeg Batmunkh, took place in Japan as part of the visit.

During the meeting, Ambassador B. Bayarsaihan presented a report on Mongolia's long-term development strategy, including aspects of public health and social policy. He also noted that in March 2025, representatives of the society will meet to discuss the 'Healthy Mongol' program, which was initiated by President Khurelsukh Ukhna, and exchange views on the current project.
The meeting was organized by the Japanese Society for Dental Anti-Aging Medicine, which included dentists and hygienists, including the society's president Toru Matsuo and Dr. Enkhsaikhan Purevjav from the University of Tennessee.
The project aims to implement modern dental technologies and oral therapy methods based on scientific research from the Japanese healthcare system in Mongolia.
Mongolian Presidential Advisor on Health Badamtsetsgeg Batmunkh delivered a report on the 'Healthy Mongol' program and public health issues, while Tsetsegsaihan Batmunkh, head of the public health department, discussed the state of dental health among Mongolians and future challenges that lie ahead.

In August of this year, members of the Japanese Society for Dental Anti-Aging Medicine plan to visit Mongolia to familiarize themselves with the dental health situation, conduct joint activities, and hold meetings.
Society President Toru Matsuo noted that the information presented at the joint meeting regarding state policy and the status of children's dental diseases will be an important resource for further cooperation.
