In the course of combating these violations, 12,218 directives were issued, and administrative proceedings were initiated in 11,677 cases. As a result of inspections, total fines exceeded 7 million somoni, of which 5.9 million have already been deposited into a special account.
Additionally, 1,035 materials were sent to the prosecutor's office for further investigation, and 927 to enforcement services, noted Khojazoda.
He also added that among the violators are not only private individuals but also employees of the Committee itself. For instance, the heads of land management departments in Isfara, Kulob, and the Abdurakhmoni Jomi district were detained.
In particular, an investigation is underway regarding the head of the land management department of Isfara city, Muhammad Bobozoda, on suspicion of receiving a bribe. A decision on his guilt will be made only after judicial proceedings.
Earlier, in 2024, a criminal case was initiated against the head of the land management department of Kulob city by the Anti-Corruption Agency. According to the investigation, he promised to provide a land plot for agriculture in exchange for 81,000 somoni but failed to fulfill his obligations.
The sale of land plots remains one of the most pressing issues in Tajikistan, as repeatedly mentioned by the country's president.
Orif Khojazoda emphasized that even employees of land management authorities are not protected from violations, highlighting the need to strengthen the fight against corruption in this area.
