On February 23, 2026, the XII consular consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Republic of Korea took place in Seoul.
At the meeting, led by Bold Bat-Ochir, Director of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, and Yun Joo-sog, Director of the Department of Consular Relations and Security of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, the parties discussed a wide range of issues.
During the meeting, participants exchanged views on issues of bilateral cooperation, protection of the legitimate rights and interests of citizens of both countries, as well as the simplification of visa procedures for Mongolian citizens planning trips to the Republic of Korea.
