On March 2, the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Pürevdorj Böchuluun, held a discussion with Amela Ober, the Regional Director of the French Development Agency (FDA). This was reported by Parliament.mn.

At the beginning of the meeting, Pürevdorj emphasized the importance of strengthening the rapidly developing bilateral relations between Mongolia and France, aiming for a transition to strategic partnership. He noted that the new composition of the Mongolian Parliament, consisting of 126 deputies, has approved two laws and a draft agreement related to France over the past year, highlighting Mongolia's efforts in this direction.

Amela Ober, representing the FDA, shared extensive knowledge and experience of the agency in areas such as energy, healthcare, education, ecotourism, and rural development. She highlighted the successful implementation of projects and programs that assist residents of remote areas.

The French Ambassador to Mongolia, Corinne Pereira Da Silva, expressed gratitude to the Deputy Speaker for his efforts in developing diplomatic relations and expressed hope for further support to deepen the partnership in the context of the 61st anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the significance of political and legal frameworks for the successful implementation of joint projects and programs. The event was also attended by the French ambassador and other embassy staff.
