On this day, a new airline was registered in Mongolia: Chingis Airlines Unity, which took delivery of its first aircraft from Morocco.

Chingis Airlines Unity was founded in 2025 with the support of investments from Nomin Holding and aims to improve the accessibility of domestic air travel, as well as to reduce the disparities in development between urban and rural areas. As part of its launch, the company has put into operation a modern turboprop aircraft ATR 72-600, which accommodates 70 passengers, and has completed preparations to launch charter flights on domestic routes.
According to its planned schedule, the airline intends to start regular flights to cities such as Dalanzadgad, Khovd, and Murun in the second quarter of 2026. In the future, Chingis Airlines Unity hopes to expand its routes to international destinations and establish a competitive position in the regional aviation market.
Currently, there are about five airlines operating domestic flights in Mongolia and approximately 20 international ones. However, only MIAT Mongolian Airlines is conducting regular domestic air transport at this time.
