At a meeting held on March 18, 2026, the government of Mongolia approved new rules for awards in the field of science and technology.
According to these rules, a cash prize of ₮100 million will be awarded for achievements in "Natural and Social Sciences" and for "Technological Achievements." The awards will be granted every two years at the government's discretion.
These awards are aimed at supporting scientists and researchers in Mongolia and serve as an important incentive for recognizing their outstanding achievements in the scientific field.
