Qatar Airways has relocated some of its aircraft to foreign airports. This decision was made in light of the "current situation in the region."

The exact number of relocated aircraft has not been disclosed by the company. However, it has been reported that "this is a temporary measure, and the planes will be returned to service as the situation normalizes," noted Qatar Airways in an interview with Doha News.

On the morning of February 28, Israel and the United States struck Iran. Donald Trump announced his intentions to destroy the nuclear program of the Islamic Republic.

In response, Iran began striking Israel and other countries in the Middle East where American military bases and facilities are located. The strikes were directed at Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai (UAE), as well as Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).

As a result of the American-Israeli attack, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed, and his wife, Mansoureh Khojasteh, also died from injuries sustained in the attack.

Donald Trump stated that the military operation in Iran would last about four weeks. In response, Iran declared jihad against the U.S. and Israel, emphasizing that there would be no negotiations.

The conflict in the Middle East has global repercussions, including the situation in Kyrgyzstan. Currently, thousands of tourists find themselves in a difficult situation in the UAE due to the conflict. Phone numbers for embassies and consulates for Kyrgyz citizens abroad can be found here.
