
President Trump noted that Iran has agreed to give up its nuclear arsenal, which was announced at a press conference at the White House.
“I have always said they will not have nuclear weapons, and they confirmed this by agreeing to renounce them forever,” Trump said.

Trump did not specify who exactly the negotiations are with in Iran, but noted that all their leaders have “disappeared,” and “no one knows who to talk to.” Nevertheless, he assured that the U.S. is communicating “with the right people,” who are “very interested in reaching an agreement.”
On March 23, Trump announced that he had held talks with the Iranian side, after which a five-day moratorium on attacks on Iran's energy facilities was introduced. However, Tehran denies any contacts with Washington. According to The Guardian, the U.S. delegation at the talks may be led by JD Vance.
On March 24, Ynet reported that Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei agreed to negotiations with U.S. representatives to end the conflict. This agreement, according to information, was conveyed through Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. “The new leader approved a quick resolution of the conflict provided our demands are met,” the source is quoted by the publication.
