North Korea removed the word 'socialist' from the title of the country's constitution

In his speech, the Chairman of the Parliament, Cho Yong Won, noted that these changes correspond to the new requirements of the stage of revolutionary development. He emphasized that the amendments create an important legal foundation for socialist construction and the further advancement of their cause.

After discussing the bill, the deputies unanimously supported the decree of the Supreme People's Assembly "On Amendments and Additions to the Constitution of the Socialist People's Democratic Republic of Korea."
