Cyclone "Narell" has caused a state of emergency across a significant part of the Gascoyne coast in Australia. According to The New Daily, the sky over Carnarvon took on a deep red hue.

As reported by the publication, the cyclone reached category three on Friday afternoon when it crossed the coast near Coral Bay, then headed towards Carnarvon, raising clouds of dust.

For several hours, the atmosphere resembled an apocalypse: the sky turned bright red, and thick dust enveloped several settlements.

The Shark Bay Caravan Park shared a video capturing the terrifying bloody sky, commenting: "No filters. This is what it looks like. You can feel the dust in your eyes and mouth."

Eddie Smith, the head of the municipality, reported that Carnarvon was under the influence of a pink dust storm for about two hours, while wind gusts exceeded 100 kilometers per hour (25-30 m/s).
