According to a report by The Times, Mojtaba Khamenei is undergoing treatment in Qom and is in critical condition. This was reported by U.S. and Israeli intelligence agencies, claiming that the supreme leader is unable to make decisions.

Earlier, at the end of March, Axios reported that the CIA and Israeli Mossad were trying to confirm information that Khamenei had become the new ruler of Iran. Doubts about his capacity arose due to his rare public appearances. Official authorities in Tehran acknowledged that the new leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, was injured as a result of a strike by the U.S. and Israel on March 28, but insisted that the injury was minor. The Telegraph added that Khamenei Jr. survived the missile strike on the residence because he had gone for a walk shortly before the attack.

Recall that on March 1, news broke about the death of Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as a result of a joint operation by the U.S. and Israel. On March 4, his son, Mojtaba, was elected the new supreme leader of Iran.
