The Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced new details in the case of a 22-year-old woman suspected of killing her newborn son.
According to preliminary information, the woman claims that on November 11, 2025, she gave birth to the baby at her home in Sokuluk. She stated that the newborn showed no signs of life, and she decided to place him in a bag, which she then threw into a trash container.
The woman arrived from Moscow three months ago, is a native of the Osh region, and worked as a waitress. She is divorced and has an older child who is with the paternal grandmother.
Citizen A. F., born in 2002, is not registered with the Sokuluk District Department of Labor and Social Security, neither as a person in need of assistance nor as a recipient of benefits.
The investigation is ongoing.
