The conflict that arose in a sewing workshop in the capital has been successfully resolved: all foreign workers who reported wage arrears have received their money. This information was provided by the press service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek.
The reason for the investigation was a video appeal published in the Kyrgyz segment of the internet, in which foreign citizens spoke about delays in salary payments, as well as issues with passports and poor treatment by the employer. The incident was registered in the Unified Register of the Internal Affairs Department of the Pervomaisky District, after which a preliminary investigation began.
Employees of the Service for Countering Extremism and Illegal Migration of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek identified all participants in the conflict. To clarify the details, the situation was examined by the police, which allowed for an agreement to be reached between the workers and their employer.
At this point, the conflict has been completely resolved. After the preliminary investigation is completed, a legal assessment of the actions of all participants in the incident will be provided.
The management continues to closely monitor issues concerning foreign citizens.
