The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan is conducting an investigation into a criminal case related to large-scale fraud. During this process, former deputy Akkyly Berdiev was detained.
According to preliminary data, in 2022, Berdiev, using fraudulent schemes, misappropriated a large sum of money, which he then used for his personal interests.
Additionally, the Ministry of Internal Affairs had previously received complaints from his wife regarding instances of domestic violence. These complaints have been registered and are under review in accordance with current legislation.
The work of the investigative authorities is ongoing.
