The Ministry of Internal Affairs detained former deputy Akkulu Berdiev.
Additionally, the Ministry noted that earlier there were complaints against Berdiev from his wife regarding instances of domestic violence. These complaints have been registered and are under review in accordance with the law.
Recently, Bermet Ormonova, who introduced herself as the wife of the former deputy, published a video appeal to the head of the State Committee for National Security, Kamchybek Tashiev, in which she reported systematic violence from her husband.
Ormonova, a 60-year-old mother of five children, claims that her husband has repeatedly thrown her out of the house and has used violence against both her and the children. She reached out to the public, fearing for the life and safety of her family, and also accused her husband of polygamy.
