The children were playing on a frozen body of water
A tragic incident occurred in the village of Zhany-Pakhta, located in the Sokuluk district: three four-year-old children drowned. Information about the incident was received by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The fatal accident happened on February 2.
According to preliminary data, the toddlers fell through the ice of a water body in their area. Local residents managed to pull the bodies of the children out and handed them over to the police. Currently, examinations are being conducted.
All three deceased were relatives and lived nearby the site of the incident.
The department urges parents and legal guardians to be especially vigilant with their children, particularly near bodies of water.
