A raid took place in the Chui region
Tax service employees conducted an operation in the village of Biridik, located in the Issyk-Ata district, where illegal transportation of tobacco products was stopped. This information was received from the agency's press service.
During the raid, a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicle was discovered, which was transferring cigarettes to another transport. Upon inspection, it was found that the vehicle contained 21,900 packs of cigarettes of the brands ORIS and ZUMERRET, which did not have excise stamps.
All necessary reports have been prepared regarding this incident. Currently, procedural measures are being taken in accordance with the applicable legislation.
The vehicle has been placed in a specialized impound lot until all circumstances of the case are fully clarified.
