A man suspected of committing fraud involving a Mercedes-Benz car was arrested in the Chui region. According to law enforcement agencies, the car was sold to third parties and is now seized as evidence. The investigation is ongoing.
It became known that a citizen named K.T., born in 1989, reported to the police. He stated that on October 27, a certain A., taking advantage of his trust under the pretext of purchasing, took possession of his Mercedes-Benz 124, valued at 250,000 soms, and disappeared.
Based on this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational activities, police officers were able to detain the suspect, a citizen M.A., born in 1992, who is currently in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation established that the detained individual managed to sell the car to other parties. The vehicle has been seized.
