In Bishkek, law enforcement agencies detained a man suspected of fraud involving a car worth 20 thousand dollars.
According to information provided by the Internal Affairs Department of the Pervomaisky District, on May 16, 2025, a citizen named M.M. reported to the police. He stated that in September 2024, he transferred a Chevrolet Trailblazer to another citizen, F.S., as payment for the construction of a bathhouse on a summer cottage. The work was valued at 10 thousand dollars, and F.S. was supposed to return the remaining amount in cash but failed to fulfill his obligations.
As a result, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of operational search activities, 34-year-old F.S. was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigating judge of the Pervomaisky District Court recognized the detention as lawful and justified. The suspect was remanded in custody in pre-trial detention center No. 1.
It has now become known that there are other similar complaints against F.S. regarding fraud. The investigation is ongoing.
