Employees of the State Tax Service in Bishkek conducted an operation during which illegal workshops producing alcoholic products were discovered. These measures are part of efforts to improve control over the movement of excise goods.

As a result of the inspections, 902 liters of alcohol, 381 bottles of vodka, and 43 liters of diluted alcohol were found in the premises. Equipment for bottling and producing vodka in cups, as well as 164 counterfeit excise stamps, were also seized.

It was established that these productions operated without the necessary licenses and permits, as well as without paying excise taxes. The materials of the case have been forwarded to law enforcement agencies for further investigation.

Additionally, in the village of Lenin, located in the Alamedin district, a workshop producing low-alcohol beverages was discovered. The products were also produced without a license and excise stamps, which led to the drafting of acts and the imposition of administrative fines.

The State Tax Service reminded that for the sale of excise goods without excise stamps (in quantities of up to 200 units), a fine of 100,000 soms is imposed. In the case of selling more than 200 units, criminal liability may arise, including imprisonment for up to seven years.

The Tax Service urges entrepreneurs to comply with legislative norms and citizens to check the presence and authenticity of excise stamps. This can be done using the Salyk mobile application, which offers scanning and manual data entry functions.
