According to court information, they were found guilty of abusing their official positions, which falls under the provisions of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The court determined that Altynbek Abduvayev must pay a fine of 400,000 soms, while Islambek Kydyrgychov must pay 300,000 soms; both fines will be directed to the state budget. Additionally, both defendants are deprived of the right to hold certain positions and engage in relevant activities.
This case also involves T.A., who was found guilty of similar crimes, including illegal arms trafficking. The court imposed a fine of 330,000 soms on him, along with similar restrictions on his rights.
Altynbek Abduvayev and Islambek Kydyrgychov are also stripped of all state awards and ranks. The preventive measure against them was changed from detention to a subscription to not leave the country until the verdict comes into legal force.
As for T.A., his preventive measure remained unchanged.

Following this, Altynbek Abduvayev and Islambek Kydyrgychov were arrested and removed from their positions.
On July 9, 2025, the chairman of the State Committee for National Security reported that the former head of the Tax Service was found to have assets worth 55 million dollars.
