The most serious precipitation is observed in the mountainous areas of the Black Sea region, including the provinces of Rize, Artvin, Giresun, Ordu, and Trabzon. Snow clearing operations are being carried out around the clock.

Since the beginning of winter, these regions have faced abundant snowfall, resulting in a significant snow cover that complicates movement and daily life.
Specialized machines are actively involved in addressing the consequences of the bad weather. Road services are working without breaks to ensure passage on the most important routes connecting settlements. Priority is given to roads leading to hospitals, schools, and other significant facilities.
Due to the heavy snowfall, educational institutions are closed in 14 provinces, and children, taking advantage of the forced break, are entertaining themselves by sliding down on plastic bags.
In Van, the snow level reached half a meter overnight.
In Safranbolu, located in the province of Karabük, local residents have created improvised ski slopes, filling the narrow streets of the old town.
In the Karliova district of Bingöl province, two days of continuous snowfall have blocked rural roads and disrupted the student transportation system.
Although the bad weather has disrupted the usual rhythm of life in some parts of the country, it has also provided residents with unique winter experiences.
