Doctors provided information about the condition of the patients
The number of people poisoned at the "Buffet" cafe in Bishkek has increased to 20. This was reported by Gulzhigit Aaliev, the chief physician of the Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital.
According to him, medical assistance was provided to 20 victims, 19 of whom were hospitalized, and one is in intensive care. Overall, the condition of the patients is improving.
It is worth noting that residents of Bishkek sought medical help after visiting the "Buffet" cafeteria, located at: Baytik Baatyr Street, 18. An inspection by the sanitary epidemiological service revealed violations, and the owners of the establishment were fined 23,000 soms.
The investigation into the causes of the mass poisoning is ongoing.
