Relatives demand an investigation into the doctor's death
In Bishkek, Aigul Zibirova, a doctor-resuscitator at the City Children's Clinical Hospital of Emergency Medical Care, has passed away. Her colleagues reported this on social media.
She worked in the resuscitation and toxicology department.
According to the hospital, Aigul was on duty on the night of December 31, and on January 2, the sad news of her death was received.
Aigul's sister reached out to the public via social media.
“My sister, a doctor-resuscitator-anesthesiologist in Children's Resuscitation No. 3 and a lecturer at Slavic University, passed away on the night of January 1 to 2, 2026. She was an amazing woman who spent her whole life learning, growing, and helping others. A true professional, dedicated to her work,” she wrote.
The official conclusion states asphyxia as the cause of death; however, the details leading to this remain unclear and raise many questions for her family.
Aigul was known as a strong and responsible person, fighting daily for the lives of children in the most challenging conditions. She was fully devoted to her profession.
Could such a person find herself in a situation that led to asphyxia?
On that fateful night, Duyshon, with whom she had previously broken up, was with her. According to him, Aigul locked herself in the bathroom, and it was there that the events leading to the tragedy occurred.
However, many questions arise: why was he nearby that day? Why, according to relatives, had she been threatened earlier? Why was he not detained for a thorough investigation of all circumstances?
Currently, there is information that Duyshon may attempt to leave the country and go to Russia.
The family feels justified fear that the truth may remain undiscovered and that those responsible will not be held accountable.
Currently, the case materials are under review at the Oktyabrsky District Internal Affairs Department, but the family has serious concerns that the investigation may be incomplete and not take into account all important details.
We are not rushing to conclusions. We demand an objective, transparent, and independent investigation. We want answers to questions that cannot be ignored. We insist that Aigul's death not be simply explained formally, but that the truth be established. She deserves the truth. Her name should be immortalized. Society has the right to know what really happened,” emphasized her sister.
The Oktyabrsky District Police Department reported that the verification of the information is ongoing, and the results will be announced later.
