In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, a man was detained on charges of inciting interethnic hatred. This became known from a statement by the Internal Affairs Department of the Sverdlovsk District.
According to information from the police, on February 26, 2026, a call was received at the "102" emergency hotline reporting that a man was using obscene language and making statements that promote interethnic and religious discord.
On the same day, the officers of the Internal Affairs Department detained a citizen named G.D., born in 1980, for further investigation.
As a result of the preliminary investigation, a protocol was drawn up under Article 126 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic. The detainee was placed in a temporary detention facility, and a linguistic examination was also appointed.
