According to law enforcement agencies, the victim reported to the police, stating that in June 2025, a woman, posing as a seller of gold items allegedly brought from Turkey, took her money amounting to 4 million 129 thousand 300 soms and fled the scene.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case has been initiated under the article "Fraud in a particularly large amount."

As a result of operational-search activities, police officers were able to detain the suspect, who turned out to be a woman born in 1970. She was placed in a temporary detention facility.
Investigative actions are ongoing, and law enforcement officials are checking possible connections of the detainee with other similar crimes.
The police strongly urge citizens to exercise caution when making transactions involving large sums and not to trust unfamiliar individuals.
