Events unfolded on March 27 around three o'clock in the afternoon when UPSM officers decided to check the documents of a driver of one of the vehicles. However, he refused to provide the necessary documents and exhibited aggressive behavior. During the conflict, he struck a patrol officer in the chest and eye.
The patrol officer was forced to detain the offender, who was then taken to the Internal Affairs Department of the First May District. The incident has been classified under Article 280 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic as "Hooliganism."
An investigation is currently underway.
