In the Ak-Suu district, in the Altyn-Arashan gorge, the ecological checkpoint has been dismantled. This was reported by Nursalbek Dyushenbiev, the head of the Karakol Forestry.

According to him, during the five months of the checkpoint's operation, it was possible to collect 4 million 578 thousand soms from vacationers.

“We established ecological posts in various locations to improve the condition of the forest fund. The funds received from the operation of our checkpoint were directed to the budget of the Karakol Forestry. With this money, we built five toilets, repaired the road that runs through the gorge, and we plan to install a modern checkpoint. In addition, benches and other amenities will be located in the recreation area. Work has also begun on landscaping the area, where we planted 100 fir trees,” added N. Dyushenbiev.
