The Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced the start of a month of mercy and support for people with disabilities called "We are together!", which is timed to coincide with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, celebrated on December 3. This month will run from November 15 to December 15.
The event is being carried out under a government resolution of the Kyrgyz Republic regarding the annual celebration of international days dedicated to the protection of children, the elderly, and persons with disabilities. The main goal of the month is to draw public attention to the rights of people with disabilities and to create conditions for their full participation in the life of the country, as well as to promote inclusive initiatives.
According to this resolution, ministries, administrative agencies, local administrations, and self-government bodies must ensure the creation of equal opportunities for all citizens, regardless of their physical abilities.
"This month is not just a set of events, but a significant step towards forming an inclusive society where every person feels their importance and protection," the official press release states.
The Ministry of Labor calls on all state and public organizations, business structures, and citizens to actively participate in the events of the month, to show attention and support to people with special needs, and to contribute to creating an accessible and inclusive environment.
