In Kyrgyzstan, no illegal construction was recorded in 2025, while in 2023 there were about 200 such objects. This was reported by Nurdin Oruntaev, the Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of the Kyrgyz Republic, during a live broadcast of the program "Elden Sobol".

He noted that all construction work is currently being carried out in accordance with the existing legislation. Previously, there were violations related to illegal construction; however, such cases have been eliminated as of today.

“Construction without the necessary permits and project documentation is strictly prohibited. If illegal construction begins, immediate measures are taken, including fines. In 2025, about 3,000 administrative protocols were drawn up as part of the fight against illegal constructions, and the total amount of imposed fines reached 120 million soms. Of this amount, 96 million soms (80%) have already been transferred to the country's budget,” the minister stated.

In addition, Oruntaev noted that work continues on the legalization of illegal objects built in previous years. Out of the 200 objects identified in 2023, about 100 have been legalized to protect citizens' rights.
