According to information received from Marat Danilov, a member of the shooting group of the Kochkor district, a planned culling of stray dogs has begun in the villages of the region.

Danilov noted that there has been a recent increase in the population of stray animals, which has led to the start of the shooting season.

“On the first day of the culling, the settlements of Kara-Suu, Kara-Saz, and Kara-Kungey were surveyed within the administrative unit of Ormon-Khan, where 22 dogs were destroyed,” he added.

The carcasses of the shot animals were placed in pits in Bekkari. For these activities, the budget of the Ormon-Khan rural administration allocated 201,580 soms. A total of 360 dogs are planned to be culled in nine villages of this district,” Danilov concluded.
