In Kyrgyzstan, 526 schools have switched to online learning due to ARVI and influenza

Experts warn about the risks of self-treatment

In Kyrgyzstan, 526 schools have transitioned to distance learning due to an outbreak of ARVI and influenza among students. This decision was made by the Ministry of Health.

Additionally, 403 children's educational institutions are under quarantine.

Despite this, doctors report a decrease in the number of officially registered cases of ARVI and influenza by 11.7% last week, totaling 37,600 cases.

Medical professionals strongly recommend that citizens avoid self-treatment and seek assistance at clinics in their area, emphasizing the importance of preventive measures.

There are 2,400 schools operating in the country, of which 224 are private.
