The building of the Alykul Osmonov Museum will be transferred to state ownership by the Bishkek City Hall.

Today, at the regular session of the Bishkek City Council, a decision was made to transfer the non-residential premises of the Alykul Osmonov Museum, located at: Sokuluksky Lane, 10, along with the land plot, into state ownership.

According to the justification, this transfer was initiated based on requests from the capital's Department of Culture and the Ministry of Culture. The goal is to create a unified management system for all museum objects related to the life and work of Alykul Osmonov, as well as to raise awareness among the younger generation about cultural heritage and historical values.

The transfer of the museum to state ownership will save the local budget an amount of 1 million 52.1 thousand soms.
Additionally, the Bishkek City Council approved the gratuitous alienation of another non-residential premises with a land plot of 0.1154 hectares, located at: Manas Avenue, 28.

Earlier, it was reported at the relevant committee that a "single window" and a meeting room for the Ministry of Construction operate in this building, while the rental of the premises is not paid for by government agencies.
