The deputy asks to create conditions for students from India, Pakistan, and China

Karim Khandzheza made a request for the construction of dormitories

During a meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh, which deals with issues of constitutional legislation, state structure, local self-government, and regulations, deputy Karim Khandzheza addressed the acting Minister of Science, Higher Education, and Innovations Gulzat Ismatova with a request to create comfortable conditions for foreign students from India, Pakistan, and China.

He emphasized the need for the construction of dormitories for these students, highlighting that the export of educational services is a profitable direction and urged Ismatova to intensify work in this area.

Gulzat Ismatova, in turn, noted that the problem of the lack of dormitories affects not only foreign students but also citizens of Kyrgyzstan. According to her, only 30% of students can secure a place in a dormitory.

“We are working on a public-private partnership project that will improve the condition of dormitories and increase the number of places in them,” Ismatova emphasized.
