Gulya Kozhokulova: Students should be required to work for the state

The deputy initiated the idea of mandatory work for students in budget-funded places

In Kyrgyzstan, there is a shortage of personnel, which makes the issue of employment for university graduates in state institutions relevant. Recently, this initiative was proposed by Deputy Gulya Kozhokulova in the Jogorku Kenesh.

The proposal concerns students studying on a budget basis.

“It is necessary to introduce an obligation for graduates who studied in budget-funded places to work for the state. State universities should sign contracts with them. Please consider the possibility of implementing this idea, as it was done during the Soviet period,” the deputy noted.

It is also worth reminding that the Ministry of Health previously developed a draft law according to which doctors are required to work for 5 years in state medical institutions before they can work in private clinics.
