At the winter fair "Northern Lights," held at Ala-Too Square, a ban on lighting fires has been introduced.
According to the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Kyrgyz Republic, during a raid conducted by the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service, unauthorized fire lighting was detected. As a result of this violation, a fine of 28,000 soms was imposed on the offender based on Article 230 of the Code of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Offenses."
Furthermore, the violating party provided a guarantee letter confirming its commitment to cease fire lighting from December 29, 2025.
The Environmental and Technical Supervision Service intends to continue strengthening control over compliance with environmental standards and public order, and also calls on citizens to adhere to the existing legislation and environmental requirements.
