On the air of Birinchi Radio, the head of the situational center of the public safety service of the Bishkek City Police Department, Turatbek Jakshylykov, spoke about how digitalization in law enforcement improves the responsiveness to citizens' requests and reduces crime rates.
According to him, the "102" service operates around the clock, ensuring quick processing of all incoming calls.
Jakshylykov refuted rumors circulating on social media that it is impossible to reach the "102" service. "I want to dispel these myths. The use of modern technologies allows us to guarantee that every citizen receives the necessary assistance," he noted.
He also emphasized that in the event of a crime in a specific area, the nearest post is immediately dispatched to the scene. Information is transmitted to the officers via radio communication, allowing their actions and location to be tracked in real time.
The head of the information technology department of the Bishkek City Police Department, Ilyas Jumagulov, added that the implementation of digital solutions allows for the recording and storage of data on a server with online access capabilities.
"This system significantly simplifies the process of collecting evidence and protects the rights of both citizens and police officers. If necessary, digital tools can objectively confirm the facts of unacceptable actions," he noted.
The Bishkek City Police Department emphasizes that the use of digital technologies not only increases the transparency of law enforcement operations but also contributes to strengthening public safety.
