On the sidewalk along A. Navoi Street in the city of Osh, the installed barriers could not withstand the pressure and less than a month after the completion of construction works, they were found to be broken, skewed, and partially destroyed.

A precise estimate of the expenses has not yet been prepared.

“Approximately 20 million soms were spent initially, but the exact estimate has not yet been approved,” said J. Shonoев.

Previously, the section of Alisher Navoi Street intersecting with Kurmanjan-datka and Gapar Aitieva streets was expanded to six lanes. Thus, the section opened today has five lanes, while the other parts of the street remain six-lane.
