During his working visit to Russia, the Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kanbek Dosmambetov, inspected key medical and educational institutions in Moscow.

According to the press service of the ministry, the main goal of the trip was to study advanced experience in training medical personnel and organizing highly specialized medical care. Emphasis was also placed on the implementation of modern diagnostic and treatment technologies that could be beneficial for the healthcare system of Kyrgyzstan.

The Kyrgyz delegation visited five significant institutions covering the most important areas of healthcare, such as medical education, cardiovascular surgery, oncology, obstetrics and gynecology, as well as digital and robotic technologies in medicine.

The first site for familiarization was the First Moscow State Medical University named after I. Sechenov, known as one of the leading medical universities in the country, which trains highly qualified specialists. Attention was paid to practical training and the integration of the educational process with clinical and scientific work.

The delegation also visited a neurology center, where telemedicine technologies were demonstrated, including remote consultations and patient support.

Additionally, there was interest in the demonstration of robotic surgery using the Da Vinci system, which showcased a surgery in real-time using robot-assisted technology. The minister emphasized the importance of implementing telemedicine and robotic methods in improving the quality and accessibility of medical care.

The delegation also visited leading federal scientific medical centers in Russia, such as the National Medical Research Center for Cardiovascular Surgery named after A. Bakulev, which presents modern methods of diagnosing and treating complex cardiovascular diseases; the National Medical Research Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Perinatology named after Academician V. Kulakov, specializing in maternal and child health; and the National Medical Research Center for Oncology named after N. Blokhin, where advanced technologies are applied in the diagnosis and treatment of oncological diseases.

During his visit to the center named after V. Kulakov, the minister became acquainted with the organization of highly specialized obstetric and gynecological care and the system of training medical personnel.

Specialists from Kyrgyzstan undergo training and advanced qualification at this center, which significantly contributes to the development of the national maternal and child health system.

Kanbek Dosmambetov noted that the training and advanced qualification of Kyrgyz specialists in such specialized centers directly affects the quality of medical care in the country and is an important direction for strengthening the reproductive health of the population, as well as reducing maternal and infant mortality.

The minister emphasized that the experience gained has practical value for the further development of the national healthcare system, especially in training medical personnel and implementing high technologies in medical services.
